It was an unbelievable experience working with Robert and Rowan!

I have an invention I’ve been working on for the past 10 years, and I needed help figuring out how to tell our story, communicate the need it meets, and build interest ahead of our Kickstarter launch. When I met Robert, I instantly knew I needed his help. There was something about the way his intellect, creativity, and almost poetic way of communicating came together. I hadn’t met anyone quite like him, and I wanted to see what that gift could bring to our brand and story.

My biggest question was how he could tell the story of a product designed for women of color with curly hair while still preserving my voice. As someone who finds it difficult to open up publicly, I needed to know the story would still feel like me. Robert explained that his role was to pull the story out of me and help my audience connect with it. That really resonated.

Our conversations felt less like intake calls and more like chats where we were genuinely understanding me and the story behind the invention. That process led to an identity document that clearly captured who we are as a brand, who we serve, why we do what we do, and how we communicate it.

It was absolutely brilliant. I’ll be honest, I teared up reading it. After some disappointing experiences with consultants, seeing the story come together so vividly, authentically, and compellingly was captivating. As I read it, I remember thinking, I want to invest in this company and this woman. That’s how good it was.

I shared the work with my social media manager at the time, who was initially skeptical because she believed everything could be done with AI. After reading it, even she agreed that this was something AI couldn’t replicate. When I explained why I chose Robert, I shared that there’s something about human connection, understanding, and storytelling that goes beyond simply generating content.

I think Robert’s gift is intentional. When you’re authentically yourself, no one else can compare. And part of what makes his work so special is his ability to help the people he works with discover and communicate that authenticity, rather than trying to fit them into someone else’s mold.

They’ll also be supporting me with PR when we reach that stage, and I’m genuinely looking forward to it!

There are plenty of people offering consulting services, but far fewer who combine expertise, creativity, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the people they serve. When you find those people, don’t walk. Run to them. You won’t regret it.
