Leadership Development

Leadership is not primarily a role.

Leadership is a way of being in relationship with power, responsibility, and other people. My leadership development work is delivered through EcoDialogues—research-grounded, facilitated dialogues that help leaders and teams build clarity and aligned action across the personal, relational system, and larger systems.

Designed for complexity, EcoDialogues is a program of UYM Charities, where I serve as executive director. To learn more, keep reading below or click the button.

Common Focus Areas

  • Leadership development for individuals and teams
  • Culture and organizational behavior (patterns, norms, incentives)
  • Communication, accountability, and decision-making
  • Board and leadership alignment (when relevant to governance)
  • Leadership capacity that supports strategy, fundraising, and operations

What EcoDialogues Can Support

  • Perspective shifts that unlock new choices and new behavior
  • More honest conversation within teams and communities
  • Coherence between values, language, and action
  • A grounded relationship to the reality of ecological crisis and social complexity

Ways to Work Together

Advisory (ongoing)

Confidential, steady partnership for leaders doing real work under real pressure. Advisory focuses on perspective, responsibility, relational dynamics, and the practical choices that shape culture. Advisory focuses on translating insight into practice over time, with attention to the personal, the relational, and the larger field.

Facilitation (single session or series)

Facilitated leadership and culture sessions for teams, boards, and departments. This is best when trust, conflict, accountability, decision-making, or role clarity need attention in a structured container. Facilitation creates shared language and agreements that can be practiced.

Implementation support

Support for turning dialogue into durable action: next-step commitments, organizational integration, communication artifacts, and follow-through structures that prevent the dialogue from becoming a one-time experience. Implementation support is for organizations that want EcoDialogues to shape culture and decisions.
